We all know them, Mickey Mouse, the Disney pricesses or the superheroes - we all grew up with these characters. Meet them and relive your childhood memories in real life.
Arrival
There are several ways to get to the Disneyland Paris. Many people drive by car or take the train. I personally recommend taking the Disneyland Paris Express bus. This bus stops at four different locations in the city of Paris. (Gare du Nord, Opéra, Châtelet and the Eiffel Tower.) Arrival is 09:45 and departure is 20:00. The price for a day ticket with both parks including transfer with the bus costs about EUR 170. The prices are depending on the day.
Main Street
When you arrive at Disneyland, the first thing you do is walk straight into the charming American small town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and playful details here.
Adventureland
In Adventureland, you can sail with the pirates, survey ruined temples or go on safari in Africa. Alladin is also located in the charming alleys. Many exotic treasures can be found in this themed area.
Discoverland
This themed area is all about Star Wars. There is roller coaster called Hyperspace Mountain where you are literally shot into space. Without spoiling everyone’s fun – I wouldn’t dare go on this roller coaster again.
For all Star Wars fans out there – there is also a great shop with items. I also had to buy a T-shirt there as an accessory.
Fantasyland
I really liked the Fantasyland because you can really be a child again for a day. Fly high above London with Peter Pan or walk through the labyrinth from Alice in Wonderland. I would highly recommend going to this themed area with children. Your children can take photos with the Disney princesses Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel or Elsa from Frozen.
Frontierland
Welcome to the Wild West. I recommend you take the Big Thunder Mountain ride. It's a train in the heart of a mountain. During the ride, the cave is rocked by an explosion, but the train doesn't slow down but keeps on speeding. Fun for the whole family.
Walt Disney Studios
Disneyland has two parks, one is the Disneyland Park, where the above-mentioned themed areas are located. The other park is the Walt Disney Studios Park. Here you will find fantastic shows, attractions, and various seasonal events. Here you are not only a spectator, but also an actor. Here you can look behind the scenes of a Hollywood film set.
Some advice from me – take the elevator of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Keep calm, floor by floor. Not suitable for people with health problems.
