If I had to describe the city of Istanbul in one word, it would be "vibrant". Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but it never fails to amaze you and is therefore definitely worth a visit. The cityscape of Siena is unique. Once you arrive, you feel transported directly to the Middle Ages. The city is not very big, with around 50 thousand inhabitants quite manageable. Everything is withing easy walking distance. But don’t underestimate the city, it has beautiful and gigantic buildings. When you look at the cityscape, you have the feeling that you have landed in a film set. No wonder the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

When you walk through the alleys of the historic center and if you like beautiful buildings – you will instantly fall in love with this city. Vienna is full of imperial highlights and one building is more beautiful than the other. In addition, you can learn a lot about the history of the Empress Elisabeth of Austria, better known as Sisi.

Bavaria is known for the Alps, beautiful lakes, beer gardens, traditional costumes, and its capital Munich with the annual Oktoberfest. The surrounding area has much more to offer. A holiday or a weekend trip in Bavaria can be very diverse and has something for every taste. In autumn the leaves change the color to a beautiful yellow, red and brown mix. Wonderful to look at.

Colmar is a lovely city in Alsace in north-eastern France. The city is characterized by cobbled streets and half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and it looks like a living postcard, like a fairy tale come true. 

More than 300 days of sunshine, a beach on the doorstep, an amazing old town, colorful fiestas and the delicious drink Sangria. Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and nevertheless most of the sights are withing walking distance.

Edinburgh has impressive architecture. The cobbled streets, stunning buildings and winding alleys are awesome. The capital is not only gorgeous, but its streets are also paved with stories. Many of them really happened, others grew around a real core. An aura of mystery and mystique surround the city. We spend our winter holidays in the village of Nesselwängle, which is in the Tannheimer Valley. This valley belongs to Tyrol but is only a stone’s throw away from Germany. Great mountains, beautiful landscapes, and delicious food – all in one place. 

Renting a camper in Canada is a unique holiday experience. In this post, I'll give you some useful tips, tell you about my experience and I also say what I would do differently next time.

Even if it's cold and grey outside all over in Switzerland, Ticino certainly has sunshine. As soon as you have crossed the Gotthard tunnel, you are in another world. 

The idyllic Val Müstair fascinates with its beauty and integrity. In spring surrounded by beautiful wildflower meadows, in winter the valley comes to rest and presents itself in a snow-covered fairytale world. Welcome to the Biosfera Val Müstair.

Madrid is a popular tourist destination and is the capital of Spain. And of course, the city is home to Real Madrid, one of the most famous football clubs in Europe. Madrid is elegant, full of sights and is a dynamic cultural city.

Iseltwald is the only village on the left side of the Lake Brienz and is called the pearl on Lake Brienz. With around 420 inhabitants, the pretty fishing village is one of the small communities in the canton of Bern - and in my opinion, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. 

The city in the heart of Slovenia offers magnificient monuments, interesting museums, modern shops and great gastronomy. Nevertheless, Ljubljana also has the flair of a dreamy little town.

Imposing mountain landscapes, beautiful lakes, perfect nature and kissed by the sun - Kärnten is the southernmost province of Austria and is best know for its mountain and lake scenery. 

The old town of Bern has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. It fascinates with its imposing buildings and its unmistakable charm. You can admire the small alleys, the bears from the Bern Bear Park, the Bundesplatz and many other sights.

Enjoy life and still recharge your batteries. Levi is the fastest growing ski center in Finland and belongs to Finnish Lapland. The village offers countless opportunities to experience the real winter.
