Bergen ist the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. An international city with a small-town atmosphere. What has made Bergen famous is its unique charm, which you simply must experience for yourself. Stroll along the old streets and alleyways where people have lived for centuries and soak up the special atmosphere. But be careful, there could be a troll lurking in every corner.

Renowned for its world-famous port wine and breathtaking riverside vistas, Porto beckons travelers from across the globe. However, beyond these highlights lie a plethora of hidden treasures. From the charming tiles adorning house facades to the delectable Francesinha sandwiches and the mesmerizing light show in the church Igreja dos Clérigos, Porto offers a wealth of experiences.

However, the Côte d'Azur has much more to offer than beautiful beaches and stars and celebrities who spend their holidays there. The cityscape of Siena is unique. Once you arrive, you feel transported directly to the Middle Ages. The city is not very big, with around 50 thousand inhabitants quite manageable. Everything is withing easy walking distance. But don’t underestimate the city, it has beautiful and gigantic buildings. When you look at the cityscape, you have the feeling that you have landed in a film set. No wonder the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

When you walk through the alleys of the historic center and if you like beautiful buildings – you will instantly fall in love with this city. Vienna is full of imperial highlights and one building is more beautiful than the other. In addition, you can learn a lot about the history of the Empress Elisabeth of Austria, better known as Sisi.

Have you always wanted to feel like a princess / prince and spend the night in a castle? The historic hotel Schloss Eberstein makes your dreams come true. The castle is located on the hill from the town Gernsbach, in the region northern Black Forest and offers you a fantastic view of the Murgtal.

Colmar is a lovely city in Alsace in north-eastern France. The city is characterized by cobbled streets and half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and it looks like a living postcard, like a fairy tale come true.

Edinburgh has impressive architecture. The cobbled streets, stunning buildings and winding alleys are awesome. The capital is not only gorgeous, but its streets are also paved with stories. Many of them really happened, others grew around a real core. An aura of mystery and mystique surround the city. We spend our winter holidays in the village of Nesselwängle, which is in the Tannheimer Valley. This valley belongs to Tyrol but is only a stone’s throw away from Germany. Great mountains, beautiful landscapes, and delicious food – all in one place. 

Renting a camper in Canada is a unique holiday experience. In this post, I'll give you some useful tips, tell you about my experience and I also say what I would do differently next time.

South Tyrol is the most northern province of Italy and since the extended autonomy came into force, South Tyrol has enjoyed comprehensive self-government rights and is accordingly referred as an "autonomous province". It was the first time for me in South Tyrol and certainly not for the last time.

Gstaad is a village in the Berner Oberland and it is situated 1050 m above sea level. It belongs to the municipality of Saanen in Switzerland. A perfect place to spend the weekend.

Switzerland’s largest winter sports region enchants as a landscape and as a myth, because it combines harmonious nature, tradition, and lifestyle.

Although Sicily has belonged to Italy since 1860, the inhabitants feel first as Sicilians and only then as Italians. Today, Sicily is an autonomous region with its own parliament. 

In the heart of Switzerland lies the village of Engelberg. For many Swiss, Engelberg is a popular destination in winter as well as in summer because of its central location. A beautiful village, surrounded by nature, which offers great attractions and fantastic mountain experiences.

Even if it's cold and grey outside all over in Switzerland, Ticino certainly has sunshine. As soon as you have crossed the Gotthard tunnel, you are in another world. 

The idyllic Val Müstair fascinates with its beauty and integrity. In spring surrounded by beautiful wildflower meadows, in winter the valley comes to rest and presents itself in a snow-covered fairytale world. Welcome to the Biosfera Val Müstair.

Madrid is a popular tourist destination and is the capital of Spain. And of course, the city is home to Real Madrid, one of the most famous football clubs in Europe. Madrid is elegant, full of sights and is a dynamic cultural city.

Iseltwald is the only village on the left side of the Lake Brienz and is called the pearl on Lake Brienz. With around 420 inhabitants, the pretty fishing village is one of the small communities in the canton of Bern - and in my opinion, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. 

The city in the heart of Slovenia offers magnificient monuments, interesting museums, modern shops and great gastronomy. Nevertheless, Ljubljana also has the flair of a dreamy little town.

Imposing mountain landscapes, beautiful lakes, perfect nature and kissed by the sun - Kärnten is the southernmost province of Austria and is best know for its mountain and lake scenery. 

The old town of Bern has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. It fascinates with its imposing buildings and its unmistakable charm. You can admire the small alleys, the bears from the Bern Bear Park, the Bundesplatz and many other sights.

We all know them, Mickey Mouse, the Disney pricesses or the superheroes - we all grew up with these characters. Meet them and relive your childhood memories in real life.

Enjoy life and still recharge your batteries. Levi is the fastest growing ski center in Finland and belongs to Finnish Lapland. The village offers countless opportunities to experience the real winter. 

Venice is a city in Northern Italy and is built on more than 100 small islands in a beautiful lagoon. There are only a few roads there as traffic routes and almost exclusively canals, including the Grand Canal with its Renaissance and Gothic palaces.

Dublin is an icredibly city full of culture, creativity and of course of joy. You can feel this in the pubs, the exciting nightlife, the music and the entertainments. 

The island is known for its spectacular beaches with turquoise waters, varied landscape with wild gorges and perhaps the best olive oil in the world.
